Syrian-Pakistani talks to promote cooperation and revitalize the tourism sector

Damascus, SANA – Tourism Minister Mazen Al-Salhani discussed Wednesday the prospects of joint cooperation between the two countries and the revitalization of tourism in Syria with Pakistan’s Assistant Foreign Minister for Middle East Affairs, Shahriar Akbar Khan, and the accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed providing visa and entry permit facilities to support Syria’s tourism sector and resuming flights between Syria and Pakistan after Eid al-Adha.

Shahriar Akbar Khan expressed his country’s readiness to provide full support to activate and revitalize the tourism sector, particularly with regard to technology and infrastructure.
