Damacus, SANA- Minister of Information Hamaza Al-Mustafa said at the celebration of launching the New Visual Identity of the Syrian Arab Republic that the Syrians stand on the threshold of a new narrative in the New Syria, a narrative built not on symbols and dazzling design, but rather on redrawing the relationship between society and state.
The minister added in a speech at the celebration at People’s Palace: “At this historic moment, we all stand today on the threshold of a new narrative in the New Syria, a narrative built not on symbols and dazzling design, but rather on redrawing the relationship between society and state.”
“The Syrians have regained their country after decades of sacrifice, and we are reintroducing the state symbol as an embodiment of victory and a new political contract, in which we declare that Syria has become a political space for and by the people” the minister said.
Al-Mustafa clarified that the “New Visual Identity was not the product of a single institution, but rather the result of collective effort in which Syrians, both inside and outside the country, joined together to contribute to building the state”.
“The visual identity, with every element, is the fruit of the Syrian people’s arduous labor, a fruit that embodies the state’s vision of itself as a state of citizenship and care, not privilege” the minister added.
