Second team of Russian experts heading to Syria to help remove bombs in Palmyra

Moscow, SANA – Another team of Russian bomb disposal experts has headed to Syria to help their Syrian counterparts in defusing mines left behind by ISIS terrorists in Palmyra before their defeat last Sunday.

RT website said Wednesday that the first expert team from the International Mine Action Center of the Russian Armed Forces went to Syria Tuesday, with the military aircraft carrying on board robots and equipment to remove mines and explosives.

A Russian military source announced earlier that a total of 100 Russian military engineers and dog trainers will be sent to Syria to help demine Palmyra.
