Daraa, SANA-Daraa National Hospital has received six advanced dialysis machines, donated by a Syrian businessman living abroad as part of a humanitarian initiative aimed at supporting medical services for patients suffering from kidney failure in the province.
Dr. Nizar al-Rashdan, Director of Daraa Hospital, said to SANA Sunday that the newly acquired machines are state-of-the-art and are currently being installed and put into operation. He also emphasized that medical and technical staff are undergoing training to ensure their safe and efficient use.
He highlighted that this initiative represents a significant enhancement to the hospital’s medical system, especially in light of the increasing number of patients requiring dialysis sessions. He also noted that contributions from expatriates play a vital role in strengthening the healthcare sector and reflect a spirit of solidarity and social responsibility.
