National Earthquake Center: 18 tremors recorded during past 24 hours

Damascus, SANA- The National Earthquake Center announced Tuesday that the stations of National Seismic Monitoring Networks recorded 18 tremors since Monday till 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, most of which are less than 4.2 magnitude on the Richter scale.

The Center said in a statement on its Facebook page that the stations of the National Seismic Monitoring monitored 11 tremors in Liwa Iskenderun and 7 other tremors in Turkey.

The Center pointed out that the quakes occurred in the Central region of Liwa Iskenderun and north of Taurus Mountains.
