Patriarch Yazigi renews need for combating terrorism

Nicosia, SANA – Greek Orthodox Patriarch John X John X Yazigi of Antioch and All the East renewed the need for combating terrorism that is striking the region.

Patriarch Yazji said in a speech at the diocese of the city of Limassol that the series of terrorism is continuous amidst the blackout of the files of the kidnapped Archbishops of Aleppo Yohanna Ibrahim and Paul Yazigi.

His Beatitude talked about the firm and nationalistic stance of the Greek Orthodox Church, pointing out to the visits of the Cypriots to Syrian churches and monasteries and their love for the deep-rooted monasteries, which stood up against the calamity.

Yazigi stressed the deep brotherly relations between the two Orthodox churches of Antioch And Cyprus.
