Syrians in the Occupied Golan and Quneitra province reiterate adherence to homeland

Syrian Occupied Golan, SANA- The Syrians in the occupied Golan on Monday reiterated their adherence to the Syrian Arab identity and their deep affiliation and loyalty to their homeland Syria rejecting any alternative of it.

Commemorating the 34rd anniversary of the Israeli ominous decision of 14 December 1981 to annex the occupied Golan to its entity, the Syrians in the occupied Golan reaffirmed their complete rejection of this colonial raciest measure, which is inseparable from the systematic terrorism to which Syria is exposed.

Israel continues its intransigence and refusal of the UN-related resolutions particularly Resolution No. 497 for 1981 which considers Israel’s decision to impose its laws, administration and custody on the occupied Syrian Golan as “null and void.”

People of the Occupied Golan renewed their rejection of the Israeli occupation that practices repressive and coercive measures such as applying the Israeli laws and imposing the Israeli identity on the Golan’s locals, asserting that the Israeli decision is “illegal and not worth the ink it is written with”.

They affirmed their stance by the Syrian Arab Army until purging all the Syrian territories from the Takfiri terrorists and liberating all the lands of Golan from the Israeli occupation.

Sheikh Atef Shaalan from Ein Qenya village said that our identity was and will remain forever an Arab Syrian one, adding that we will continue the heritage of our ancestors in offering sacrifices for Syria.

For his part, Sheikh Nazeeh Mahmoud from Majdal Shams stressed that the will of the Syrians in Golan is more powerful than all of the occupation’s armies due to their deep belief in restoring the occupied Golan sooner or later.

Said Farahat from Baqaatha village pointed out that the victory achieved now by the Syrian army will bring victory to the whole Arab nation, adding that Syria is defending the dignity of the nation while the Gulf States are scurrying off to normalize relations with the Zionist entity.

Governor of Quneitra, Ahmad Sheikh Abdel Qader saluted the locals of the Syrian Occupied Golan, who renewed the large combative heritage of the Great Syrian Revolt of 1925 through rejecting the Zionist decision, and called on locals of the villages of Majdal Shams, Baqatha, Masaada, Ein Qenya to organize strikes and to reject the Israeli identity.

The liberated prisoner and Chairman of the Committee to Support the freed prisoners and Syrian detainees in Israeli jails Ali Younes highlighted the Zionist violations against the Syrian prisoners, calling on the world to rapidly and seriously take an action to liberate them.

Member of the People’s Assembly Hanaa al-Sayyed clarified that Syrians have a strong will that enables them to thwart the most notorious conspiracies and face the most dangerous challenges, reiterating that the coming days will be full of promising and imperative hope to restore the Golan to its Motherland Syria.

In Turn , Member of the People’s Assembly Refaat al-Hussein, from Baqaatha occupied village , said when the Syrian citizens realized the start of implying the occupation’s measures leading up to the annexation, they unified and called on to hold a meeting in Majdal Shams village and issued a statement in 1981 called ” the National Document” in which they affirmed that the Occupied Golan is part and parcel of Syria and the Syrian Arab Nationality is an inherent inseparable character that will pass on from the fathers to children.

The National Document stressed on the following:
– Our territory is a sacred property of our Syrian Society members, anyone who sells, relinquishes or gives away a grain thereof to Israeli occupiers will be committing a grave crime against our society and a non-forgiven national treason.

– We do not acknowledge any decision that Israel issues to mingle us into the Israeli entity, and we decisively reject the decisions of the Israeli government that aim to deprive us of our Syrian Arab personality.

-We renounce the legitimacy of the local and Sectarian councils which have been installed by the Israeli military reign and which receive their instructions from it, the heads and members of such councils are not considered under all circumstances as our representatives. Only those who openly reject the Israeli occupation and evidently show their belonging to our social classes are eligible and qualified to express the consciousness of their society members.

– Every Occupied Golan inhabitant who seeks to replace his Nationality with the Israeli one, humiliates our dignity, violates our national honor, recants our Religion, breaches our traditions and is considered a traitor to our Country.

– We have peremptorily resolved that anyone who embraces the Israeli nationality or disrespects the contents of this Document shall be apostate and renegade from our Religion and social integrity. All and every kind of trading, sharing his sorrows and joys and inter-marriage with him shall be banned until he acknowledges his sin, repents, asks forgiveness from his society and restores his real Nationality so that he is reinstated within us.

– Having drawn strength from our original spiritual, national and human heritage that urges us to allege to our homeland, safeguard our kinsfolk, order goodness and forbid evils, we have adopted this Document.
