Damascus, SANA – The authorities are continuing to provide quantities of foreign currency in the market at the price of SYP 215 against one USD, sources told SANA.

The authorities had distributed on Thursday large quantities of foreign currency to a number of exchange companies in all provinces at the price of SYP 220 against one USD, which is part of the efforts exerted by the government to stabilize the SYP exchange rate and the foreign currency market.
