SANA Director General: 2030 World Cup poses new media challenges

Rabat, SANA-SANA’s Director General Ziad al-Mahamid affirmed that “the 2030 World Cup, co-hosted by Morocco, Spain, and Portugal, poses new media challenges.”

“Covering this event requires going beyond traditional methods and relying on digital and social media, with joint coordination among news agencies.” Maghreb Arabe Press (MAP) quoted Al-Mahamid as saying Wednesday, on the sidelines of the 33rd General Assembly of the Association of Mediterranean News Agencies (AMAN).
