Ankara,SANA- Turkish Vice President, Cevdet Yilmaz, said that a developed Syria will contribute not only to Turkey-Syria bilateral relations, but also to broader regional prosperity and stability.
Yilmaz said in an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera Net: “Syria is a very important country for us, it is a neighbor, and we have borders with it that exceed 900 kilometers, and we have deep historical ties with it.”
‘’Syria has witnessed a revolution after more than 60 years of dictatorship, and today it is entering a new phase.The basis of our position on Syria at this stage is based on building confidence and stability in it, and preserving its unity and territorial integrity” he added.
The Turkish Vice President explained that his country shows the highest levels of solidarity with Syria in all fields, and is ready to share its experiences and provide full support in the reconstruction process.
