Amman, SANA-The Jordanian Cabinet decided to approve the general framework for establishing a Supreme Coordination Council between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Syrian Arab Republic, which was agreed upon by the two countries and chaired by their foreign ministers.
“This decision comes to agree on a joint work agenda between the two brotherly countries and to strengthen fraternal cooperation between them in many fields, especially essential ones such as trade, transportation, energy, and health, with the aim of expanding later to other sectors.” The Jordanian News Agency (Petra) quoted the Cabinet as saying in a statement.
The statement added that the council includes the ministers of energy, health, industry, trade, transport, agriculture, water, information and communications technology, education, and tourism from both countries.
