Damascus, SANA-Head of General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), Mr. Ashhad al-Salibi, discussed with a number of representatives of international humanitarian organizations concerned with refugee issues ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the parties to support the return of Syrian refugees from countries of asylum around the world to Syrian airports.
The meeting discussed mechanisms to facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid through Syrian airports and the launch of a humanitarian initiative to operate dedicated flights to support those affected, a step that reflects Syria’s commitment to providing humanitarian support and alleviating the suffering of refugees.
