Patriarch John X calls for lifting unjust Western siege imposed on the Syrian people

Damascus, SANA- A holy mass was held on Easter Monday at the Mariamite Cathedral of Damascus, presided upon by Patriarch John X, Patriarch of Antioch and all the East for Greek Orthodox.

In his speech, Patriarch John X called on the governments of the world and peoples to lift the unjust Western siege imposed on the Syrian people.

We pray for Syria and its territorial integrity, and for Palestine, Patriarch John X added.

Patriarch also called for stopping the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza and ending the genocide against the people of Palestine., imploring God to prevail peace in the whole world.
