Temperatures to drop, skies partly cloudy

Damascus, SANA- The Temperatures will continue to drop to become around average or slightly lower as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general in the coastal areas and local rains are will fall over the coastal areas while the weather will be misty and hot in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia “semi-desert” areas.

The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and it will become active in the evening while the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 22/35, Daraa 21/36, Homs 21/29, Lattakia 25/31, Aleppo  22/32 and Deir Ezzor 28/44.
