Terrorist rocket attacks in Aleppo, Damascus and its countryside claim a life, cause injuries and massive material damage

Provinces, SANA – A civilian was killed and ten others were injured by terrorists rockets on Aleppo city on Saturday.

A source at Aleppo Police Command  told SANA reporter that one civilian was killed and ten injured by rocket shells fired by terrorists on al-Khalidyeh neighborhood in Aleppo city.

Three civilians were injured in terrorist mortar attacks on the neighborhoods of al-Shaghour and Bab Sharqi and al-Zablatani area in the city of Damascus.

A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA reporter that one of the mortar shells which were fired by terrorists landed in al-Amin street in al-Shaghour neighborhood, injuring a citizen and causing material damage to a number of shops and cars.

Two more citizens were reported injured by shrapnel of a mortar shell that hit al-Dwamneh Square in al-Zablatani area, said the source, adding that a number of cars sustained damage in the attack.

It also pointed out that a fire broke out in a clothing storehouse in Bab Sharqi neighborhood in the Old City of Damascus after a mortar round exploded in the storehouse.

The fire caused massive material damage but there were no human casualties, as the source confirmed.

In the same context, a number of houses, shops and cars sustained significant damage by mortar shells that hit the city of Jaramana in Damascus Countryside.

SANA reporter quoted a Police Command source as saying that terrorists fired three mortar rounds on the city which landed in the neighborhoods of al-Janayen, al-Qrayyat and al-Terbeh.

The terrorist attack caused massive damage to 6 houses, 12 cars and 4 shops, but no casualties were reported.

A similar attack with a mortar round which hit an area at the entrance of Jaramana on Friday injured three citizens, including a girl child.
