Bangkok, SANA – Hazem Nao of the Syrian national U-18 tennis team has jumped 137 places in the world rankings of the International Tennis Federation (ITF), stepping to 234th, which is his best so far.

This achievement followed his winning of the second place in the singles competitions at Thailand Junior Tennis Championships few days ago, where he lost 2-6, 3-6 and 6-7 to the Indian player Siddhant Banthia in the final game.

Nao still has a chance to improve his position through the Second Thailand Championships currently ongoing where he made it to the quarter-finals in the singles competitions.
