Damascus, SANA- Endowments Ministry launched Thursday a religious campaign called “The best days” coinciding with the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
The ministry highlighted the importance of benefiting of these blessed and virtuous days in doing charitable work.
Minister of Endowments (Awqaf), Dr. Mohammad Abu al-Khair Shukry, said this campaign comes as a part of Prophet Muhammad guidance, peace be upon him, as he called for drawing closer to God Almighty through strengthening family ties, honoring parents, serving the community, and being kind to people.
The minister also pointed out that offering sacrifices during these blessed days, is also a recommended act of worship.
