Geneva, SANA- Minister of Health, Dr. Musab al-Ali, discussed Thursday with his Jordanian counterpart, Dr. Firas Al-Hawari, developing cooperation in the fields of pharmaceutical, scientific research and academic and medical exchange to strengthen heath care systems in the two countries.
During the meeting held on the sidelines of the 78th Session of the World Health Assembly in Geneva, the two sides agreed to follow up the joint issues through the official channels in order to ensure the implementation of the agreements reached at the Jordanian-Syrian Higher Coordination Council signed in Damascus.
Dr.Al-Ali praised the positive role of Jordan and the experiences of the Jordanian health sector, expressing Syria’s readiness to expand areas of joint cooperation.
The Jordanian Minister stressed the deep-rooted health relations with Syria, voicing his country’s readiness to provide assistance needed by the Syrian Ministry of Health.
