Damascus, SANA- Minister of Health Dr. Musab al-Ali met Monday with Dr. Ahmad Ibrahim Hassan, the Chargé d’Affaires of the Sudanese Embassy, to explore ways to enhance and develop partnerships between the two brotherly countries, including the possibility of establishing joint investments in the pharmaceutical industry.
During the meeting, held at the ministry’s headquarters, Minister al-Ali emphasized Syria’s commitment to developing relations, fostering cooperation, and exchanging mutual benefits. He noted that Syria has worked on improving medication quality, monitoring pharmaceutical factories, and regulating their operations following liberation.
For his part, the Sudanese Chargé d’Affaires expressed his country’s desire to sign a memorandum of understanding for cooperation with Syria in the pharmaceutical sector, given its proven quality and effectiveness.
He also highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration in medical training and professional development across various specialties.
