Cabinet expresses sorrow over demise of al-Moallem, decides to form ministerial committee to follow up recommendations of refugees’ return conference

Damascus, SANA-The Cabinet expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Walid al-Moallem, who has defended Syria’s sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity and independent national decision at regional and international forums.

During a weekly session held on Tuesday and headed by Prime Minister, Hussein Arnous, the cabinet called on ministries concerned to tighten penalties in accordance with the laws and regulations in force against traffickers in basic materials supported by the state and to intensify efforts to reduce crowdedness on bakeries, and open new windows.

In another context, the cabinet decided to form a ministerial work group from the ministries concerned to follow up on the recommendations and decisions of the international conference on the return of refugees which was held last week .
