Damascus, SANA – The temperatures will slightly rise, but will remain 1 to 3 degrees below average in most areas as the country is affected by superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general and the winds will be westerly to northwesterly of light to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 32/18, Daraa 31/17, Homs 29/16, Lattakia 31/17, Aleppo 31/17 and Deir Ezzor 34/20.
