Damascus, SANA – Syrian Airlines said it cancelled all flights scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, from Damascus International Airport, due to the temporary closure of some air corridors in the Syrian airspace for aviation safety reasons, starting from 5:00 pm today.
The corporation said on its Telegram channel on Wednesday that flights have been temporarily diverted to Aleppo International Airport, where the following flights will be initially operated:
– Flight to Kuwait: Departure from Aleppo Airport at 16:00 and return from Kuwait at 20:30
– Flight to Sharjah: Departure from Aleppo Airport at 15:00 and return from Sharjah at 21:00
The Corporation noted that the route of the flights will be via the sea, which may lead to a slight increase in the flight time.
