Washington, SANA-US President Donald Trump has excluded Syria from the list of countries whose citizens are banned from traveling to the United States.
CNN reported that Syria’s name was not among the banned Arab countries, after previously being on the list of countries whose citizens Trump banned from traveling to America in 2017.
The ban announced by Trump this time will completely restrict the entry of citizens from 12 countries: Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. It will also partially restrict the entry of citizens from seven countries: Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela.
The White House described Trump’s travel ban as fulfilling an election promise to protect Americans from dangerous foreign entities that wish to enter and harm the country.
