Syria and Jordan sign Trade and industry Agreement

Damascus, SANA- Damascus Countryside Chamber of Commerce and Jordan Chamber of Industry signed Thursday a memorandum of understanding to expand trade, industrial, and investment relations between the two countries.

The agreement stipulates cooperation in organizing events, economic forums, and exhibitions, and in removing all obstacles and difficulties that hinder the development of relations.

Abdul Rahim Ziadeh, The President of Damascus Countryside Chamber of Commerce, stressed the need of economic integration between Syria and Jordan for the benefit of both parties.

For his part, the President of Jordan Chamber of Industry, Engineer Fathi Al-Jaghbir, highlighted the importance of joint work between the private sectors of the two countries, giving priority for local products in import.
