Damascus, SANA-Since the beginning of this year until May 10, the Syrian Civil Defense’s healthcare system has carried out more than 42,000 emergency medical operations, patient transfers, and hospital referrals, benefiting over 70,000 individuals in all provinces.
In a statement on its Telegram channel, the Civil Defense emphasized that patient transport, emergency response, and hospital referrals play a crucial role in strengthening healthcare services in war-affected communities. These efforts alleviate the burden on healthcare facilities, particularly in areas lacking medical centers and healthcare infrastructure.
