Geneva, SANA- Minister of Health, Dr. Musab al-Ali, discussed Friday with his Qatari counterpart, Mansour bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud,ways to support efforts to rebuild the health system.
During a meeting held on the sidelines of the 78th Session of the World Health Assembly in Geneva,the two sides stressed the importance of supporting Syria’s efforts to rebuild the health system, especially in the areas of infrastructure and the supplying of medicines and medical supplies.
The talks dealt with the importance of benefiting from Qatari expertise in the field of health digital transformation, and organizing primary health services and community care, in a way that contributes to achieving an effective response to the needs of citizens in various governorates, stressing the fraternal relations that unite the two countries in addition to Qatar’s will to support Syria’s efforts in the areas discussed.
