Providing support and facilities to Syrian pilgrims on the top of Syrian-Saudi meeting in Doha

Doha, SANA- On the sidelines of ICAO Facilitation Conference (FALC 2025) held in Doha, Syria and Saudi Arabia discussed Thursday ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the civil aviation field.

That was during a meeting that brought together Head of General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), Mr. Ashhad al-Salibi and Head of General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdulaziz al-Duailej.

 “The meeting addressed mechanisms for developing strategic partnerships between Syria and Saudi Arabia in aviation domain in a way that would contribute to raising levels of air safety and improving facilities provided at airports”, Civil Aviation Authority posted on its Telegram channel.

The talks during the meeting also touched on the importance of providing the Syrian pilgrims with the best transportation services during the upcoming Hajj to boost cooperation between the two authorities.
