President al-Assad discusses with President Rashid of Iraq cooperation in counter-terrorism

Manama, SANA- President Bashar al-Assad on Thursday met President Abdul Latif Rashid of Iraq on the sidelines of the Arab Summit being held in Manama.

Talks during the meeting dealt with the standing cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the fields of combating terrorism, economic cooperation in addition to the coordination on the political level.

The two presidents stressed the need to boost inter-Arab consultation about main issues in the region.
