Al-Ghabbash, President of Iranian RCS discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides

Damascus, SANA- Health Minister Dr. Hassan al-Ghabbash, discussed with President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), Dr. Pir Hossein Kolivand, means of enhancing cooperation to follow up the response in providing field and logistical support to the earthquake affected.

During the meeting held on Thursday, al-Ghabbash pointed out to the importance of supporting the affected people who live in shelter centers, providing all health services to prevent the spread of epidemics and diseases, and supplying the ministry with medical equipment such as radiology devices that are used in orthopedic surgery, echocardiography, and orthopedic surgery supplies, in addition to medicines.

For his part, Kolivand affirmed that his country continues to send aid to the affected provinces in Syria, especially the relief ones.

Kolivad noted at the same time to the expertise and trained and qualified human forces it possesses in dealing with disasters of all kinds, in addition to the huge development in the industry of artificial limbs, in a way that facilitates establishment of cooperation and the transfer of expertise in these domains to Syria.
