Social Affairs Minister, Deputy Commissioner of UN Refugees in Syria discuss aftermath of earthquake

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Social Affairs and Labour, Mohamed Seif El-Din discussed Sunday with UN Deputy High Commissioner for Refugees in Syria, Kelly T. Clements the repercussions of the humanitarian catastrophe as a result of the earthquake that struck the country last Monday.

They discussed the possibility of expanding the Cash Assistance Project and rapid response by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to include those affected by the earthquake.

In turn, Clements said that the UNHCR is ready to provide everything possible to support the quake –affected people.
