Hama, SANA-Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army and the Armed Forces, Defense Minister Fahd Jassem al-Freij said Syria is bent on uprooting terrorism and restoring security and stability “to every single inch of land.”
The defense minister’s comments came during a field visit he paid to military sites for Syrian army units in Morek, Halfaya, Arzeh and Khattab in the northern countryside of Hama province, inspecting their conditions and listening to their accounts about the nature of their missions.
“Syria will beat terrorism thanks to the awareness of its people, the steadfastness of its army and the wisdom of its leader,” he affirmed.
The minister hailed the “high morale” that characterizes the Syrian army which has led to successive military successes against foreign-backed terrorism.
