Damascus Countryside, SANA – A woman was killed and her daughter was injured in terrorists’ mortar attack on Menin town in Damascus Countryside on Tuesday.

A source at Damascus Police Command said that terrorists fired three mortar shells that landed near al-Seddiq Mosque and Jabal al-Ain neighborhood in Menin town, killing a woman, injuring her daughter and causing material damage to several houses.

In the same context, other 3 shells fell near al-Thaqafi Mosque and near the river in the area surrounding Bab Tuma Square, leaving 3 civilians injured.

The attack also caused material damage to a house and a number of cars in the site.
