Bibilov: South Ossetia seeks to develop relations with Syria

Tskhinvali, SANA- President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov affirmed that his country seeks to develop relations with Syria.

In a press conference on Monday in the city of Tskhinvali, Bibilov expressed his country’s desire to build friendly relations with Syria.

He noted that the arrival of businessmen from South Ossetia to Damascus is the first step in the framework of the implementation of the agreements signed between the two countries.

Speaking about the war in Syria, Bibilov pointed out that the war against international terrorism in Syria has reached an end as most of its territory have been liberated, which means that the situation is moving towards more stability.

On July 23, Bibilov paid a three-day visit to Syria, during which he met senior officials and discussed with them the prospects of developing relations between the two countries in all domains.
