Women, supported by STD, recycle worn cloths, make soap

Damascus countryside, SANA- Women in al-Tal city in Damascus countryside have been able to recycle the worn cloths and turn them into pieces of art, others could make changes in their life through implementing micro-economic projects, such as making soap to improve their living conditions.

The Syrian Trust for development has supported the initiative and held a number of training courses for the women in the countryside.

The women told SANA that the initiatives, though still small, have created job opportunities for a number of the women in their houses, affirming determination to develop their work to be as an important source for good living.
