A number of QSD militia gunmen injured in attack by unidentified persons in Deir Ezzor countryside

Deir Ezzor, SANA- Unidentified persons attacked checkpoints of US occupation-backed QSD militia in al-Hawaij, Jadeed, and Akedat towns in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside, injuring a number of QSD gunmen.

Civil sources told SANA reporter that a number of QSD gunmen were injured in an attack by unidentified persons using machinegun weapons at al-Tahounah checkpoint for QSD militia in al-Hawaij town, which witnesses daily continuous protests against presence of QSD and US occupation forces in the area.

A point for the so-called self-defense which affiliated to QSD militia was attacked with machinegun weapons by unknown persons in the villages of Jadeed and Akedat in Deir Ezzor eastern countryside, the reporter indicated.

Deir Ezzor countryside witnesses continued popular demonstrations demanding the expulsion of US occupation forces and Qasad militia which has gone far in torturing the locals and stealing their properties and besieging a number of villages and towns in addition to arresting dozens of young men, targeting the dignitaries and tribes’ elders and stealing the resources of al-Jazeera region.
