Patriarch Yazigi calls for lifting unilateral coercive measures imposed on Syrian people

Moscow, SANA- Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East John X Yazigi called for lifting unilateral coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people.

Patriarch Yazig’s remarks came during a meeting with Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia on Wednesday in Moscow.

Patriarch Yazig said that the situation in Syria is more better now than before as life returned to normal in the country’s cities and towns except for the remaining terrorist hotbeds in some areas.

In turn, Patriarch Kirill pointed out to the importance of scientific and culture cooperation between Russia and Syria that aims at enhancing relations and bonds of friendship between the two peoples and the two countries.
