Riyadh, Aug. 16 (SANA) Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held phone calls on Sunday with his Qatari and Omani counterparts, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, to discuss the latest regional developments, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

The talks focused on the importance of continued coordination and consultation to strengthen diplomatic efforts aimed at preserving regional security and stability, according to SPA.

Separately, bin Farhan met with Yemeni Foreign Minister Afrah al-Zouba to discuss regional developments, bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.

The Saudi minister reaffirmed his country’s support for Yemen’s security and stability, expressing Saudi Arabia’s aspiration to continue joint work in service of both countries’ interests and regional stability.

The talks are part of ongoing coordination to unify positions on regional issues and ensure de-escalation and maritime security in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandeb, preserving the stability of supply chains and energy markets.
