More soldiers and civilians freed from Jisr al-Shughour hospital siege reach Lattakia

Lattakia, SANA – More soldiers of those who broke the terrorists’ 28-day siege of the National Hospital of Jisr al-Shughour city in Idleb province arrived in Lattakia on Sunday.

A number of civilians also accompanied the soldiers.

On Friday, the army force which defended the National Hospital for almost a month broke the siege which Jabhat al-Nusra and its affiliates imposed on the hospital, before these terrorist organizations finally intended to blow it up after their failure to break into it.

The soldiers were freed and left the hospital, carrying their dead or injured fellow members, and headed to army posts in Idleb countryside.

Those who reached the military posts were then taken to hospitals in the neighboring Lattakia province to receive medical treatment.
