Syrian Weightlifter achieves impressive results in local and international tournaments

Damascus, SANA- Syrian weightlifter Qasoura Jgheili won a number of local titles, in addition to breaking the Syrian youth record in the snatch at 167 kg, previously held by weightlifter Maan Asaad, and reaching a clean and jerk of 205 kg.

Regarding his international championships, Jighili explained that he won six gold medals in the Arab Championships in Damascus and Cairo, a bronze medal in the Asian Championship in Uzbekistan, and most recently, a fourth-place finish in the World Championships recently held in Peru.
