Moscow, SANA- Russia and Egypt stressed the necessity of preserving the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria and addressing the crisis politically.
“The discussions focused on the importance of preserving Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and respecting Syrians’ rights to determine their own destiny,” Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference with and his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry.
Lavrov added that Russia sees it is important for the Arab League to intensify its work, particularly following the crisis in Syria.
