Shaaban: Syria will not accept anyone’s dictates

Damascus, SANA- Special Adviser at the Presidency of the Republic, Buthaina Shaaban said that the US and its Western allies are waging a terrorist war on Syria, looting its resources, and imposing the illegal economic sanctions to weaken the country and targeting its independent decision.

Speaking during an interview with Atheer Oman newspaper, Shaaban said that Syria will continue its steadfastness and achieve triumph after another, and will not accept the dictates of anyone.

“Steadfastness of President Bashar al-Assad and the Syrian Arab Army, Cohesion among the Syrian people are the reasons for Syria’s steadfastness in the face of the Western conspiracy tried to fragment the Syrian fabri,” Shaaban said.

She underlined in this regard the importance of the support provided by friends and allies, on top Russia and Iran, and the moral and diplomatic support provided by the Sultanate of Oman to Syria.

Shaaban added that the Syrian Arab Army has achieved great victories and liberated most of areas from terrorism prompting the US and Turkey which back terrorism to directly intervene into the war; the US has occupied Al-Tanf and northeast of Syria while Turkey has occupied the northwest to control the Syrian resources of oil and wheat along with targeting the coexistence.

She added that the war will not stop because what is targeted is the independent decision of Syria and to make it accept what they dictate.

Today, the world is becoming multipolar because the peoples are eager for liberation and the promotion of human values, and do not accept Western hegemony.

Shaaban pointed out to the Russian special operation in Ukraine and the vital role of The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and BRICS countries, as well as the Russian-Chinese relations, Russian-Chinese-Iranian relations and political blocs across Asia will end the usual Western hegemony to loot the peoples’ wealth.
