Russian MoD: Luhansk forces reached administrative borders with support of Russian forces

Moscow-SANA-The Russian Ministry of Defense Spokesperson, Major General Igor Konashenkov, announced that the units of the Luhansk People’s Republic, with the support of the Russian Armed Forces, completed the cleansing of the town of Popasnaya from the Nazis, penetrated deep into the defenses of the Ukrainian forces and reached the administrative borders of the republic.

Konashenkov said in a press briefing this morning that Russian warplanes destroyed, during the last night, 16 sites for mobilizing manpower and combat equipment for the Ukrainian armed forces, while missile and artillery forces targeted 33 command headquarters, 407 mobilization sites for manpower and combat equipment, and 5 depots for ammunition and fuel materials, and as a result 380 Nazis were eliminated and 53 pieces of combat equipment were destroyed.

Konashenkov added that a Ukrainian Su-25 plane was shot down yesterday evening in Kharkov province, while the Russian air defense forces shot down 3 Ukrainian drones last night, and a Ukrainian Tochka-U missile and a Smerch rocket launcher were intercepted in the vicinity of the Donetsk People’s Republic, in addition to intercepting two more rockets in Kharkov region.
