Syrian-Armenian talks to boost parliamentary relations

Damascus, SANA-People’s Assembly Speaker, Hammouda Sabbagh, described as deeply-rooted and strong the relations between Syria and Armenia, stressing the importance of enhancing them, particularly in the parliamentary field.

For his part, the Armenian ambassador referred to the history and common denominators which bring together the people of the two friendly countries extending for more than a thousand years.

He said that Syria has a special status among the Armenians, expressing his country’s willingness to activate the parliamentary and popular relations between the two countries.
