A Syrian team wins second place in Arab Mental Arithmetic Championship in Egypt

Hasaka, SANA-The Syrian team representing Qamishli city won second place in the Arab Mental Arithmetic Championship, which concluded its competitions in Egypt on Saturday with participation of 46 teams.

Head and trainer of Qamishli team Rawda al-Maktaf, told SANA in a statement that ranking second was due to the continued training, asserting that the result has encouraged the children exert further efforts in other competitions to achieve advanced.

She pointed out that the participants accomplished difficult arithmetic operations in a record time, as the child Baland Mustafa Hibbu has achieved first place in the sixth level, in addition to his participation within the team in all levesl.
