Temperatures above average, hot misty weather in eastern areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures remain above average from 2 to 5 degrees as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by northwesterly air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while it will be misty and hot in the eastern, al-Jazira and al-Badia (semi-desert) areas.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 38/22, Daraa 35/22, Homs 33/22, Lattakia 32/25, Aleppo 38/24 and Deir Ezzor 45/30.
