Damascus, SANA- Tourism Minister Bishr Yazigi discussed with Russian Ambassador in Damascus Azmatullah Kulmohamedov on Thursday ways to enhance the tourism cooperation relations between both countries through inviting Russian companies and businessmen to further invest in the Syrian tourism sector.
The minister asserted willingness to take the necessary procedures to facilitate and boost bilateral relations, indicating a desire on the part of the Russian companies operating in Syria to be given further investment opportunities.
“During the coming period, focus will be placed on religious tourism,” the minister noted.
For his part, the Russian Ambassador affirmed the importance of activating coordination relations between Russia and Syria in all fields and making the needed contacts with investment companies to push efforts in this regard forward.
