Temperatures to rise, weather hot in most areas

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the east and accompanied by a weak subtropical pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general and the weather will be hot in most areas while it will be misty and very hot in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia “semi-desert” areas.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to moderate speed and active gusts sometimes and the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 21/39, Daraa 38/19, Lattakia 32/25, Aleppo 40/25 and Deir Ezzor 45/27.
