Worldwide coronavirus deaths surpass 567 thousand, infections close to 13 million

Capitals, SANA- The coronavirus has killed more than 567 thousand people worldwide since the beginning of its outbreak last December.

Worldometer website which follows up the latest coronavirus developments said that the total number of coronavirus infections reached up to 12,847,288 till now of which 748,3246 have recovered while 567,734 have passed away.

Robert Koch Institute in Germany reported that the number of people who have contracted the novel coronavirus raised to 248 cases bringing the total number of infections in the country to 198,804 while the death toll hit 9,063.

In Brazil, the Ministry of Health declared 1071 new deaths from the virus in the past 24 hours as the death toll raised to 71,469, while the total number of infections reached more than one million and 839,000 confirmed cases.

In Mexico, the Ministry of Health reported 6094 new cases of Coronavirus and 539 deaths as the total number of cases amounted to 29, 5268 cases and 34,730.
