US police continues using violence to break up anti-racism protests

Washington, SANA- Despite threats by US President Donald Trump to use military force to ‘dominate’ protestors through using military force, anti-racism protests and US police violence have continued for the ninth consecutive day across the United States.

Hundreds of thousands of Americans streamed back into the streets in different states last night, according to the Washington Post newspaper, in protest over the crime of killing George Floyd, an African American, at the hands of the police.

Protestors called for justice for Floyd and for dozens of Americans of different ethnicities who have died as a result of police violence and racial discrimination.

New York, Washington, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles states have witnessed major peaceful protests, while some cities lifted the curfews because they had done little to deter determined protesters.
