People of Golan affirm commitment to resistance and resilience against Israeli practices

Quneitra, SANA – The people of the occupied Syrian Golan reiterated their adherence to their homeland and their determination to resist the arbitrary and aggressive practices of the Israeli occupation authorities.

That came during a rally organized by the people of the occupied Syrian Golan in the occupied village of Buq’ata on Sunday on the occasion of March 8th Revolution and International Women’s Day, as well as commemorating the 33rd anniversary of martyrdom of Ghalia Farhat.

In a statement, the locals affirmed their commitment to resistance against occupation and defending their Syrian identity, expressing their full confidence in the inevitability of liberating the occupied Syrian lands with the bravery of the Syrian Arab Army under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad.

The statement indicated that the occupied Syrian Golan is continuing its ongoing battle to foil the Israeli occupation’s plans in the occupied land, the last of which is the wind turbines project that the Israeli occupation authorities plan to establish on the agricultural lands owned by the people of the occupied Syrian Golan with the aim of displacing them from their land and homes, stressing that the people of the Golan are loyal to their land.

The dean of the Syrian and Arab captives in the Israeli occupation prisons, the released captive Sudqi Suleiman al-Maqt, stressed that the process of resistance and struggle will go on until the liberation of the entire occupied Syrian Golan, saluting the heroes of the Syrian Arab Army who are waging battles of honor against Erdogan and his terrorist mercenaries.

In a phone call with the people of Buq’ata during the event, Governor of Quneitra Hammam Dibbiyat saluted their steadfastness against the Israeli practices, stressing that the people of the occupied Syrian Golan have always been the rock on which the dreams of the Zionists are shattered.
